To Have Your Love

(Teacher's Poem)

From that heavenly Paradise, the land of spring
You came to this dreadfully cold world of winter
Attacked by all sorts of cold winds and snowstorms
On the hill of Golgotha
For me alone You breathed  Your last, O Holy One
How can I before Your great love like the sun
Simply sit and stare blankly
I pray that You will give me Your love
Which can easily melt this cold, glacier-like world
Give also to me Your love
Which is hotter than the burning summer sun

Also Your heart of mercy, patience and compassion
Bestow upon me the complete essence of Your character entirely
As You personally told and promised me
Give them all to me today,
Making one day as a thousand years
And a thousand years as if as day
